On 28^th February – 1^st March 2025, Alex will be running over 100 miles in an effort to raise £35,000 for Centre 56.

Building on the success of last year’s run, he will complete a new ultra-marathon route, visiting all stations on Merseyrail’s Wirral and Northern Lines. 69 stations, 105 miles, in just over 24 hours!

The challenge begins in Chester and takes in all the furthest points of the network including Ellesmere Port, West Kirby, New Brighton, Headbolt Lane, Ormskirk, and Southport before finishing at Hunts Cross.

Centre 56 is a unique charity, supporting families who have experienced domestic abuse or crisis situations. We put children first, noting the profound impact that witnessing abuse can have on their development and confidence, and providing a safe, nurturing space for them to learn to process these experiences.
